The following are requirements for a contractor to be on the Northern Stone & Design Contractor Referral List to be distributed to customers upon their request:

1. Must have been in the Landscaping and/or Stonescaping Industry for a minimum of 3 years.
2. Must provide 6 references and accompany a Northern Stone & Design representative to those references for on site inspections of the quality of your work.
3. Must warranty all workmanship for a minimum of 5 years.
4. Must be ICPI & NCMA certified, or willing to become certified within 24 months. Proper base preparation, consideration for drainage, and the use of edging restraints and geogrid are critical in the success or failure of any installation. The standards established by these two organizations are the requirements of Northern Stone & Design.
5. Must have Workers Compensation and General Liabilty Insurance with current certificates on file at Northern Stone & Design.
6. Must have, and maintain, a record of prompt payment with both Northern Stone & Design and Northern Nurseries.
7. Must respond to any and all leads by contacting the customer within 48 hours of receiving the lead.
8. Northern Stone & Design, in conjunction with Northern Nurseries, will review the performance of all contractors on the referral list annually and reserve the right to remove a contractor from the list at any time for non-performance or lack of professionalism.
9. All products used on a project resulting from a lead provided by Northern Stone & Design must be purchased from Northern Stone & Design or no further leads will be provided to that contractor
